Farewell CBCRO. Long Live the National Broadcast Orchestra of Canada

“The National Broadcast Orchestra (Orchestre national de nouvelle diffusion) is the new Canadian ensemble formed to carry on the 70-year legacy of the CBC Radio Orchestra. Founded by conductor Alain Trudel and businessman Philippe Labelle, the NBO was incorporated in January 2009 and is a registered Canadian charity. The new orchestra reaches beyond the boundaries of traditional media, utilizing the Internet as its primary tool for broadcasting performances and connecting with audiences.”
