Though the CBC Radio Orchestra's life was ended by CBC Radio, the orchestra has been reincarnated in a new form: the National Broadcast Orchestra of Canada - Orchestre national de diffusion du Canada.
Dear Mark Steinmetz and CBC Radio, Prime Minister Harper, Members of Parliament, and the Minister of Canadian Heritage. We the undersigned want the CBC Radio Orchestra saved. We believe that the orchestra is an integral part of Canada's mosaic and an important contributor to Canada's unique and rich cultural heritage. Our Canada includes the CBC Radio Orchestra!

In the same way that national galleries and such are guardians of essential treasures of culture, so too is the CBC Orchestra. Don\'t throw this guardian away.

One series I heard at the Chan Centre was a delight. I would hate to think this experience was lost to my Vancouver grandchildren.

This is a disaster to cut this orchestra. Since when is necessary to deny the public of this excellent service. The funding of the CBC by public finances necessitates that services preferred by the public should be continued.

When so much in this world is out of control, let\'s lead in not succumbing to the madness. Let\'s honour what is significant and crucial and already established as culturally important.

It is unconscionable to think that some moron somewhere has enought stupidity to think that this monumental part of our should or could be eliminated.

The CBCRO and the CBC\'s role in support of classical music are an important part of our way of life. CBC management should be seeking to expand services and funding, not cutting programming and jobs.

The only radio station I listen to is CBC. It is a crucial part of my life. It connects me with the rest of Canada. I want the CBC Radio Orchestra to stay.

I object to the closure of the CBC orchestra. In an age of musical mediocrity it\'s important to preserve this orchestra as a counterpoint.
